Watkin Jones, the UK's leading developer and manager of residential for rent, is pleased to mark the next stage in the brand evolution of Venti House (previously known as Grove Crescent), with the opening of a show apartment in Stratford, East London—now open for viewings. The show apartment has been dressed by John Lewis, bringing a fresh and stylish look that reflects the Venti House vision in full.

This launch provides the first opportunity to experience Venti House’s modern, student-centred approach to purpose-built living environments, redefining the experience of student accommodation and bringing a new level of design, quality, and wellbeing to the sector. Residents can expect a unique living experience that reflects the diversity and energy of student life in London.

Fresh, appointed for their extensive experience in student marketing, led the brand development for the project. Drawing inspiration from Victorian, industrial, oriental, and modern design influences, the Venti House brand unites heritage and contemporary character. The design concept integrates elements of British history within a culturally rich and modern interior, creating a welcoming and engaging home for students. Upon practical completion, Fresh will manage Venti House, ensuring a seamless experience for students.

Located in the heart of Stratford, Venti House will deliver 397 student beds offering a mix of studios and clusters, supported by high-quality amenity spaces for socialising, study, and wellbeing. The development demonstrates Watkin Jones’ market-leading approach to sustainable development, placemaking, and long-term operational excellence, targeting high environmental performance for completion ahead of the 2026/27 academic year.

The opening of the Venti House show apartment marks the next chapter in the brand’s journey as Watkin Jones continues to deliver distinctive, high-quality places to live across the UK.

To celebrate the launch, Fresh has collaborated with John Lewis to style the show apartment and introduce the ‘Win a Room’ competition. All direct-let bookings will be entered into a prize draw to win a complete room dressing for their chosen layout—either a studio or an ensuite. Two winners will be selected, each receiving a fully dressed room ready to move into (terms and conditions apply). This competition is a key highlight to support the launch, making moving into Venti House even more exciting for students.

Show apartment viewings are now open. For more details, including opening times and to explore the Venti House vision, visit the Fresh website.
