We’re pleased to announce that, at the request of the executive management team, the British Safety Council (BSC) has now completed an audit of the control measures that are in place across the Group and awarded the business COVID-Secure accreditation.
This follows a rigorous review of the management and operational response to the pandemic across our construction, central services property management activities. As part of its investigation, the BSC’s auditors not only examined the organisation’s written procedures but carried out extensive on-the-ground observations of its day-to-day practices. Crucially, they also spoke to staff at all levels of the business to assess whether the measures that we have adopted have been consistently implemented and understood.
Commenting on the BSC’s audit, CEO Richard Simpson said “The accreditation reflects the resilience of our business and our unerring focus on managing the pandemic proactively. I hope it also gives our people, our tenants and our business partners confidence in our wider commitment to doing the right thing.”
